비행청소년에 대한 통합적 개입 사례 = A case study on the integrated interventionin juvenile delinquency

This case study deals with a boy referred to the Seoul Dongbu Child Guidance Center as delinquency by the local child abuse prevention center and then cared for there. He was not looked after properly because of divorce, and ran away repeatedly from the neglected environment. In his emotional and social parts of him, he was depressed and helpless to change his poor situation, and alienated from peer group by himself. Living in the Center for about 29 months, he was demanded to participate in the therapeutic community program and individual counseling. In the initial stage, he was indifferent to participation in the activities of the program and defensive on self-disclosure in the counseling sessions, and showed the runaway problem over and over again. Going through the re-entering process after long-time runaway from the Center, he felt the communities warm support and truth on him. Besides, the communities pressure for change encouraged him to take part in the activities of the program and his feeling of attachment to the community cause his problems to decrease or to disappear. In addition to this, individual counseling and sand play therapy were used to deal with the problems on living in the center and to help him explore himself.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 사례는 비행의 문제로 지역아동학대예방센터에서 의뢰되어 상담소에 입소된 청소년에 대한 것이다. 청소년은 부모의 이혼과 이후 방임된 환경 속에서 가출의 문제를 장기적으로 보이며, 무기력하여 행동 변화에 대한 동기부여가 되지 않고 우울하며 또래와 어울림이 적었다. 청소년은 약 1년 5개월 정도 상담소에 입소되어 치료공동체라는 생활프로그램과 개별상담에 참여하였다. 입소 초기 청소년은 가출의 문제행동을 반복하였으며, 치료공동체 프로그램에 대한 참여와 개별상담에서의 자기문제를 개방하는데 부정적이었다. 청소년은 장기간의 가출 후 재입소 과정에서 공동체에 대한 신뢰와 지지, 때로는 변화압력에 의해 가출과 무기력, 우울에 대한 문제행동이 소거 또는 감소되었다. 청소년에 대한 개별상담은 일상생활에서의 문제를 다루어주는 일반적인 상담과 재입소 후 치료공동체에 익숙해지며 자신을 개방함에 있어서는 모래놀이치료를 실시하였다.
