아동학대 가족 대상 이야기치료 반영팀원의경험에 대한 질적 연구 = A Qualitative Study of the Experience of Reflecting Team Members of the Narrative Therapy for Families Accused of Child Abuse

The purpose of this study is to explore the meaning and the applicability of the use of a reflecting team, a practice which is very rare in the Korean counselling field. The participants of this study were eight child protection agency counsellors who acted as the reflecting members during narrative therapy sessions for families accused of child abuse. The data were gathered through in-depth interview and were then analyzed for drawing major themes. The results show that the participants felt that narrative therapy brings the positive effects on the clients who use their life stories to gain insights into their problems and finding resources for arriving at a solution. Also, the participants changed their perspectives on the families accused of child abuse and developed new bonds with them. It seems most beneficial when the reflecting team builds strong bonds with the clients and provides support and encouragement through empathy and finding the strengths of the clients.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구는 아동학대 가족을 대상으로 실시된 이야기치료 접근에서 반영팀원으로 참여한 참여자들의 경험을 살펴본 질적 연구이다. 이야기치료 안에서 반영팀 활용이 아직 극소수에 불과한 한국적 상담 현장에서 아동학대 가족 상담에서의 이야기치료와 반영팀 활용의 의미와 적용가능성을 탐구하고자 하였다. 8명의 아동보호전문기관 상담원 혹은 치료자를 심층 면접한 자료를 분석하여 중요한 주제들을 도출하고 정리하였다. 연구 참여자들은 가족에 대한 시각이 바뀌었고 내담자와의 관계가 발전되는 경험을 하면서 아동 학대 상담에 대한 기존의 틀에 대해 반성을 하였다. 한국적 상황에서 반영팀은 내담자와 신뢰를 구축하고 경청과 공감을 통해 내담자의 강점을 찾아주며 내담자를 지지하고 격려하는 쪽으로 운영되었다.
