The purpose of this article is to analyse the studies on the North Korea-Russia relations during last 60 years. For this goal, we can categorize the decades with a turning point, the normalization of the relations between Korea and Russia in 1990. The first period, 1945~1990, is sub-categorized into various times and is not yet produced too much in volume, but it has erupted significant discussions and topics in academic world. The second one has more articles in numbering but the academic issue is limited than ever period. The existing relations between North Korea and Russia has changed to some degrees in characters after 1990, it is because the bilateral relations revised to the North -the South Korea-Russia``s three-lateral one. The final summary of this study might be concluded like these. Firstly, the points of the North Korea-Russia relations has the common nature of difference in view points between the two countries, North Korea and Russia. Secondly, the aspects of perception on counterpart, expecially on the Russia``s thinking on the North Korea is totally reduced in documents and historic materials. Thirdly, the analysis or explanation for the individual historic events is needed more broadly. Fourth, the comparative studies on different countries in same issue or event is more enlarged in volume than the past.
