강원도 폐광지역 공동지역혁신을 위한 전략산업 연계방안 = 태백시와 정선군을 중심으로

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

As the abandoned mining areas, 4 cities including Taebaek City and Jeongseon-gun have been at a standstill with the declined coal mining industries and rapidly reduced populations since the late 1980s. However, according to the ‘Special Act for abandoned mining areas", they started to find the breakthrough with Gangwon Land established and tourism industry developed.
In the meantime, these areas come into antagonism with each other due to the regional self-centeredness these days, whenever there are development-related issues, which make them not capable of the synergy effects under the mutual cooperation.
To overcome this non-productive status, the purpose of this study is to consider the win-win plans and collaborations mainly focusing on the region-specialized industries featuring the environment-friendly new drive and tourism business, so that Taebaeck City and Jeongseon-gun could come true the mutual cooperation under the regional innovation as the representative abandoned mining areas.
