This study aimed to investigate and analyze learners' perceptions ofthe use of K-wave content in Korean language learning. To this end, asurvey was conducted among intermediate and advanced Koreanlearners currently studying at universities. A total of 60 participantswere recruited, comprising 30 academic and 30 hobby-purpose learners.
The survey was structured into three sections—learning motivation,learning process, and learning expectations—to comprehensivelyexamine students’ perceptions of the Korean language learningexperience. Specifically, this study explored how academic andhobby-purpose learners perceived the K-wave content before beginningtheir studies, during the learning process, and in terms of their futurelearning expectations. The findings provide an analysis of the role ofK-wave content in Korean language education from the perspective ofKorean learners. Based on the results, the study offers pedagogicalimplications for the effective integration of K-wave content intoKorean language teaching and learning.
