The purpose of this study were to examine the relation between bully and victim and to investigate the difference in level of bully-victim and school-related variables according to bully victim types(normal group, bully group, victim group, bully-victim group). The respondents consisted of 594 middle school students, ranging in grade from lst to 3rd. Information was based on self-reports. The data was analyzed Pearson`s correlation coefficients, F-test, Duncah`s test, factor analysis, and Cronbach`s a. Major findings were as follows. First, the relational and physical victim were related to high relational and physical bully, whereas oppressional victim was related to moderate oppressional bully. Second, the level of oppressional, relational, and physical bully was different according to bully·victim types. The normal group reported lower level of relational and physical bully than did bully group and bully-victim group. But the normal group reported same level of oppressional bully as bully group reported. Third, the level of oppressional, relational, and physical victim was different according to bully·victim types. The normal group reported same level of oppressional victim and physical victim as victim group reported. The bully-victim group reported higher level of physical victim than did normal group and victim group. Fourth, the bully group reported higher level of delinquent friend and violent school climate than did normal group. The victim group reported higher level of school maladjustment and violence school climate and lower level of close friend support than did normal. The bully-victim group reported higher level of delinquent friend, school maladjustment, and violent school climate than did normal group.
