지체 및 뇌병변장애인의 취업결정요인에 관한 연구 = A Study about Decisive Factors on Employment of a Person with Physical Disability and/or Cerebral Palsy

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 지체 및 뇌병변장애인들의 취업결정요인들을 규명하기 위하여 인구사회학적 요인, 인적자본 요인, 장애 및 건강관련 요인, 재활서비스 요인 등의 측면에서 조사하고 분석하였다. 본 연구는 대구시에 거주하고 있는 20세 이상 65세 이하의 지체 및 뇌병변장애인 1,100명을 할당표집하여 구조화된 면접지에 의하여 설문을 실시하였고, 최종 811명의 응답을 분석에 활용하였다. 본 연구의 분석방법으로는 취업여부에 따른 조사대상자들의 특성은 빈도, 백분율, 평균, x2 등의 통계를 통해서 분석하였고, 취업에 영향을 미친 요인들을 규명하기 위하여 로지스틱 회귀분석을 사용하였다. 본 연구의 주요결과로는 지체 및 뇌병변장애인의 취업은 성별, 교육수준, 자격증 유무, 장애유형, 활동능력, 이용기관 등 다양한 요인들에 의하여 결정된다는 것이 조사되었다. 이러한 요인들을 고려하여 장애인들에 대한 직업재활정책, 제도, 프로그램 등이 개발되어야 할 것이다. 끝으로 본 연구결과에 기초하여 지체 및 뇌병변장애인들의 직업재활에 대한 함의를 개괄적으로 제시하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study analyzed various factors about demographics, human capital, disabilities, health, and rehabilitation services for the purpose of figuring out decisive factors on employment of a person with physical disability and/or cerebral palsy. With quota sampling, this study recruited 1,100 a person with physical disability and/or cerebral palsy whose ages are from 20 to 65 years old who reside in Daegu. For final analyses, 811 participants were chosen. Frequence, percent, mean, and X^(2) were used to reveal participants’characteristics relating to employment while logistic regression were utilized to examining factors affecting employment. This study found that a person with physical disability and/or cerebral palsy employment was determined by a variety of factors such as gender, education, acquisition of a certificate of qualification, types of disabilities, activity, service agency, etc. Vocational rehabilitation policies, systems, and programs for the disabled should be developed based on these factors referred above. Finally this study provided overall implications about vocational rehabilitation for persons with physical disability and/or cerebral palsy.
