정치적 책임과 용서에 대한 한나 아렌트의 이해

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study is focussed on illuminating the relation between the responsibility and forgiving. To do this, the relation between the self and the world, and the guilt and responsibility should be discussed. For Arendt, The individual responsibility is connected with the moral and legal problems, and also with the conscience. She did not articulate the compassion in explaining the individual responsibility. The compassion is the concept which is correspondent to the political forgiving. Considering that the life of mind is related with the public activities, the conscience is the middle term to connect the individual, and collective(political) responsibility. The political responsibility is differentiated from the guilt. The feeling of political responsibility cannot be formed without the attitude toward the love of the world. The political responsibility is followed by the political forgiving. Arendt's conceptual thinking centers on the political activity in articulating the theories of responsibility and forgiving. Both the responsibility and forgiving are the variations of the action. Two concepts are closely related with the new beginning which is the element to relieve the world from the destruction and to cure the interior defects of the action and freedom. In explaining the Arendtian theory of responsibility and forgiving, I emphasize the relation between the individual responsibility and compassion, and the political responsibility and forgiving.
