초등학교 특수학급 부모교육의 현황 및 요구 - 제주도 내 초등학교를 중심으로 - = Current Status and Needs of Parent Education in Special Education Classes at the Elementary School Level in Je-ju Do

The present study aimed to provide information on more efficient and systematic parent education in special education classes at the elementary school level. To do this, a questionnaire including 15 items was sent to 35 special education classroom teachers and a questionnaire consisting of 39 items was distributed to 110 parents of the children in the classrooms in Je-ju Do. Thirty-five teacher questionnaires and seventy-nine parent questionnaires were returned, and data from the returned questionnaires were analyzed to answer the 4 research questions as follows: 1) How are the current management status of parent education in special education classes at the elementary school level? 2) Are there any differences in teacher's needs for parent education according to teacher related variables(sex, career in special education classes)? 3) Are there any differences in parent's needs for parent education according to parent related variables(child's age, parent's education level)? 4) Are there any differences in needs for parent education between teachers and parents? The results of data analyses were presented in order of research questions and based on the results, conclusions and several suggestions were presented.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 보다 효율적이고 체계적인 초등학교 특수학급 부모교육의 실시를 위한 기초자료를 제공하기 위하여 1)초등학교 특수학급 부모교육의 운영실태, 2)교사의 변인(성별, 특수학급 담당경력)에 따른 부모교육에 대한 교사의 요구 차이, 3)학부모의 변인(자녀의 나이, 학부모의 학력)에 따른 부모교육에 대한 학부모의 요구 차이, 4)부모교육에 대한 요구에 있어서 교사와 학부모간의 차이를 알아보았다. 제주도 내 총 35개 초등학교 특수학급 담당교사와 그 학급 학부모들을 대상으로 설문지를 통한 조사를 실시하였는데, 교사용 설문지 35부와 학부모용 설문지 110부를 발송한 결과 35명(100%)의 교사와 79명(72%)의 학부모로부터 설문지가 회수되었으나, 회수된 설문지 중 응답이 누락되었거나 응답내용이 불분명한 응답지(교사용 0부, 학부모용 12부)를 제외한 교사용 35부, 학부모용 67부의 자료만을 분석하였다. 본 연구의 분석결과를 바탕으로 몇 가지 결론과 제언이 제시되었다.
