The purposes of this study were (1) to develop the system to be utlized for organizing industrial technology subject. (2) to clarify the area of study industrial technology and (3) to develop the model for structuring content for effective instructional purpose.
The study suggested that
(1) Three main phases were to be included in curriculum development process. They were curriculum foundation, curriculum content and curriculum evaluation. Each of these phases has its subcategories. In curriculum foundation, for example, (a) definition of the program, (b) rationale for the study of program, (c) content source, (d) content structure and (e) program aim and program goals.
(2) The areas of study to be included were manufacturing, construction, communication, power-energy technology system and cultivation technology system.
(3) System concept was to be emphasized in the process of organizing teaching content.
(4) Problem-solving project method and R & D method were to be emphasized in organizing learning activities.
