한국교육에 있어 학부모의 역할

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The aim of this paper is to develope a new educational discourse about the patterns of parental role in Korean education. The central topics discussed are 1)the constitutional background of Korean education, 2)children's lifeworld at school and home, 3)the agenda of education reform,4)an analysis of the parental role models, and 5)the desirable roles expected from Korean parents; etc.
The rather bold arguments and alternative, proposals of the diverse role patterns of parent have been presented in the context of the overall structure of Korean education. They may be risky and any attempt to bring about the successful actualization without the fundamental reform of Korean society and culture would be futile. This may be a social/cultural revolution, which usually takes long though. Within the dynamics of the whole Korean education, the positive role of parent's is expected.
