법학교육방법 다양화와 정보,통신기술 활용 가능성 탐색 = Exploring the Diversity of Educational Methods and Possibility of Utilizing Information and Communication Technologies for Legal Education

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

In the knowledge-based society, there are undergoing wide spread reforms in the diverse sectors. No exceptions are in the legal education. Changes within legal practice mirror changes within the system of legal education. The question is whether legal educators should be ahead of these changes, understanding their meaning and preparing both the lawyers of the future and those who study law and what lawyers do for the world in which law will operate. The purpose of the present study was to explore the diversity of educational methods and possibility of utilizing information and communication technologies(ICTs) for legal education. Based upon a comprehensive literature review, four educational methods for legal education were summarized as follows: (1) lecture method, (2) case study method, (3) problem-based learning method, and (4) simulation method. And then it was explored to develop and implement the curricular of legal informatics and e-Learning courses with utilizing ICTs for effective law education. If educational methods and teaching/learning environment with utilizing ICTs for legal education are fully developed with basic infrastructure and professors` core competencies, it could contribute to improving the process of teaching and learning for legal education and to changing educational system with Law School, College of Law and Department of Law.
