The purpose of this study was to investigate the actual state of evaluation of physical education in the elementary school. The subjects of this study were 115 male and 271 female elementary school teachers. The data collected from the questionnaire designed by the investigator were analyzed by using FREQUENCIES and CROSSTABS in SPSS PC??.
The results were as follows;
1. Analysis of evaluation on sex
(1) There was a significant difference of the ratio of cognitive domain.
(2) There was no significant difference of evaluation method.
2. Analysis of evaluation on educational career.
(1) There was a significant difference of the frequency of paper and skill test, the ratio of paper and skill test and the ratio of three domains.
(2) There was no significant difference of the evaluation method.
3. Analysis of evaluation on academic career
(1) There was a significant difference of the frequency of skill test and the ratio of paper and skill test.
(2) There was no significant difference of the evaluation method.
4. Analysis of evaluation on grade
(1) There was no significant difference of the content of evaluation.
(2) There was no significant difference of the evaluation method.
