      Existing structural analysis on continuous body has difficulty in finding weak points and destructive directions, and considering coupling of the body. In order to improve these problems, this study focused on transformation of continuous body into truss model. If the continuous body can be transformed into truss model, it would simplify the complexity of coupling and it would enable to find weakest points and destructive directions also. As a foundation study on transformation of continuous body into truss model, this study purports to find relation between volume and deflection of transformed truss model. As a result, transformed truss models have a tendency to show similar deflection and stresses when its volumes are 200% of the continuous body.
