      다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

      As a specialized educational institute which is training education experts, reserve teachers and reeducating in-service teachers, The Graduate School of Education is in charge of a big role in Korean education. In particular, the Major of Computer Education at the Graduate School contributes very much in computer education of teenagers who will lead the IT of Korea. Therefore, it will be a significant study comparing and analyzing about the curriculum in computer education major at the Graduate School of Education.
      In the study, laying stress on 5 universities in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do, that is, Konkuk University, Korea University, Suwon University, Ajou University and Yonsei University, the curriculum in computer education major has been compared and analyzed. These 5 universities are evaluated ‘best’ and ‘good’ grade in ‘Graduate School of Education Evaluation’ in 2004, 2005 which is done by Korean Education Development Institute and have opened computer education major and have a school for the training of teachers. The purpose of this research is to understand the merits and faults of curriculum in each Graduate Schools, to research a remedy and to establish more progressive model of curriculum in computer education major.
      In the comparison and analysis, the curriculum has divided in four parts, that is, basic completion subjects, common subjects, computer education subjects and non-common subjects, which are essential completion subjects to obtain a teacher’s license that the Ministry of Education notified.
      Through these researches, I suggest desirable curriculums for each universities connected with The 7th Curriculum of The Korea National Curriculum.
      As the research of this study, current curriculum of Graduate School of Education seems to have distance from the national curriculum. Curriculums of graduate schools must be reorganized to meet the purpose of Graduate School of Education to make deep relation with curriculum of secondary school.
      As well, the lack of the doctor’s course should be recognized and more doctors’ course should be founded in more Graduate School of Education.
      Finally, the graduate schools should make exertion to develop more efficient curriculum through the mutual communication between graduate schoolsand organize systemized and specialized curriculum which is needed required in the field.
      This study is limited in 5 universities in Seoul and Gyeonggi, therefore we need to study on more universities as well as foreign schools. By these processes desirable curriculum in computer education will be established.
