      『BulgyoJinhunghoiWolbo』 No.4, No.6, No.8, and No.9 reveal a section of the controversy over zen doctrine developed in the history of Zen Buddhism in Korea.
      Yu-gyeongjong's 「Dapseo(答書)」, which is included in No. 4, shows the problems of performance and edification related to Linjizong, and the characteristics of Joseon zen buddhism related to five-sects of zen buddhism.
      On the other hand, the sixth issue shows Yi-nunghwa and Choi-dongsik's refutation. Yi-nunghwa, on six occasions, and Choi-dongsik, on five occasions, raised objections to Yu-gyeongjong's views. Choi-dongsik's and Yi-nunghwa's rebuttals to Yu-gyeongjong's 「Dapseo」 were developed to the same effect, but they are not entirely identical, and there are subtle differences in the content of these rebuttals.
      Regarding the views of these refutations, Yu-gyeongjong again described his views with the title of penance in No. 8. Yu-gyeongjong concludes that after describing his views in various ways, including doctrinal explanations and practices of reality, this way of explanation gradually increases conflicts.
      In particular, Yu-gyeongjong contributed 「Hangaldung(閑葛藤)」 to No.9. Here, Yu-gyeongjong ended up advocating his own view in the form of a dialogue about the practice of Chosun zen Buddhism, which inherited Linjizong, and other ways of ruling the mind, rather than reflecting on the refutation of Choi-dongsik and Yi-nunghwa.
      『BulgyoJinhunghoiWolbo』 showed the uniqueness of being a magazine of modern Korean Buddhism, and it was also a newsletter of the Buddhist end at that time, a medium of propagation, and a scholarly magazine of Buddhism and a magazine of culture.
