This paper is to explore one of the teaching and learning methods-imitation-for art education at primary schools in Korea. In other words, in learning calligraphy, the learners(children) still have room for their own creation while they uniformly imitate famous calligraphers' characters by filling ink in the outlined characters under the teacher's guidance.
The subtitle of this paper is "a uniform imitation learning method by filling ink in outlined characters. Its contents include: 1. Introduction, 2. Theory of Calligraphy Education, 3. Calligraphy Teaching-Learning Methods, 4. Imitation Teaching-A learning Plan, 5. Conclusion. It totals approximately 10,000(Korean) characters.
The teaching/learning method in this study has the following benefits.
