This is a study about supporting the job-change of discharged soldiers, focusing on outsourcing of the military. Currently MPVA(Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs), MND(Ministry of National Defense) and the Head quarters of three armed services are promoting a policy of the job-change support. However a number of discharged soldiers are hardly making a success of changing their jobs by reason of social employment getting blocked, lack of social competitiveness of discharged soldiers, and limits of the job-change support. Moreover it is getting harder for discharged soldiers to change their jobs by reduction of standing force according to the national defense reformation.
This study make inquiries into the environment of social employment and the actual condition of job-change support and analyze the influence of national defense reformation on the job-change of discharged soldiers.
In conclusion, outsourcing in a field of combat service support have to be expanded to overcome limits of job-change support. In other words, Not only it's ought to be guaranteed for discharged soldiers to get a job but also the maintenance of combat readiness and the demonstration of combat power should be secured.
