This study is on the history of development and function of Boon (powder or foundation).
The representative make-up product used widely in the world was Boon (powder or foundation) which decides the overall color of face. The main materials of Boon were powder of celeals and meneals. The key point in the production of Boon was to increase its powder of adsorption. The invention of Yunboon (powder mixed with lead) solved this major problem of Boon.
The function of powder are whitening of face, concealment of the skin fault, the religion, increasing self-satisfaction, promoting good personal relationship, protection of the skin.
The characteristics of Boon are homogeneity, adsorption, security.
