제주방언 보조용언의 문법적 특성 = The Grammatical features on supplement verbs of Jeju dialect

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study aims at clarifying the grammatical features of supplement verbs around ‘-ə pul-, ə ka-, ə tu-’ of Jeju dialects This study especially focuses on making ascertain whether the each meaning of supplement verbs which has each identical aspect is basic meaning or peripheral one. This study made clear that the meaning of “termination” aspect which is found in -ə pul-’ is derived from the meaning of “elimination” pattern of “-ə pul-”, according to the logic trace. I found, furthermore, that the meaning of “progress” aspect which is found in -ə ka-’ is derived from the meaning of “addition and diminution” pattern of “-ə ka”. I found finally that the meaning of “termination” aspect which is found in -ə tu-’ is derived from the meaning of “preservation” pattern of “-ə ka”.
