교육대학교 편입생 선발 실태와 제도 개선을 위한 연구 : 광주교육대학교를 중심으로

국문 초록 (Abstract)

최근 초등교사 부족과 중등교사 과잉으로 인해 중등교사 자격증 소지자의 교대 편입 경쟁이 갈수록 치열해지면서 지원자들의 내신성적의 신뢰성, 출제 영역간 비중의 타당성, 편입생들의 성비 조정, 장애인들의 응시 기회 제공, 표준화된 점수 활용 등과 같은 새로운 문제들이 나타나고 있다. 이러한 문제들의 해결 방안을 강구하기 위해 이 연구에서는 교육대학 및 일반대학들의 편입생 선발제도 분석, 현행 교육대학 편입생 선발제도 분석, 그리고 편입생 선발제도를 거친 광주교육대학교 편입생들과 이들을 가르쳐 본 교수들에게 제시한 질문지 자료를 수집ㆍ분석하였다. 연구 결과에 의하면, ⅰ) 단계별 전형의 신축적 운영, ⅱ) 대학성적 반영 비율 축소, ⅲ) 교육학고사 비중 상향조정, ⅳ) 남녀 성비 조정, ⅴ) 장애인 편입학 시험 기회 부여, ⅵ) 표준화된 인증시험 점수 활용 등을 보완해야 할 것으로 나타났다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The recent phenomena such as the shortage of elementary school teachers and the surplus of secondary school teachers have influenced the exam for transfer students for national colleges of education(NCOE) which is highly competitive. There have been growing questions on the reliability and validity of GPA which the applicants earned in their college, the criteria for selection, acceptable ratio of man and woman, discrimination of the handicapped, using standardized test scores.<br/>
The purposes of this study were to explore the current practice of transfer system and to find solutions to the problems in Gwangju National University of Education (GNUE)'s transfer system. To accomplish the purposes, this study analysed transfer systems of major colleges and universities, the current transfer system of NCOEs, and the data from surveys for professors and transferred students at GNUE.<br/>
The study concluded that the current transfer system of GNUE must be reformed. The prospective transfer system must consider the following: 1) In the pre-screening stage, GPA score in transcript and the score of pedagogy test must be included; 2) the ratio of GPA reflection must be minimized; 3) the ratio of test score on pedagogy must be increased from current 20% up to 30%; 4) the ratio between male and female transfer students must be consistent to the ratio of entrance exam; 5) applicants with disability should be given an opportunity to apply, but provide the needed information to study subjects require normal physical/mental activities; and 6) standard test scores such as TOEFL or TOEIC would be used to reflect on screening process.
