학교상담에서 사례관리 영역과 범위에 대한 현장연구 = A Field Study on Case Mangement Areas and Scope in School Counseling

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 학교상담에서 수행되는 사례관리의 실제 경험을 탐색하고, 이를 통해 학교상담 사례관리의 특성과 과제를 심층적으로 이해하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 초·중·고등학교에서 근무하는 전문상담교사 8인을 대상으로 심층 면담을 실시하였고, 합의적 질적 연구(CQR) 방법에 따라 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 학교상담에서 사례관리는 단순한 내담자 지원을 넘어 학생의 삶을 다차원적으로 조율하는 통합적 개입의 실천과정으로 인식되고 있었다. 상담자들은 상담자 중심의 사례관리의 개별적 실천 한계를 인식하며, 효과적인 사례관리를 위해 공동사례관리 체계, 정보 공유 기반, 지역사회 협력망의 구축이 필요함을 강조하였다. 또한 상담자가 사례관리자로서 제도적으로 인정받지 못하는 현실에 대한 어려움을 호소하였다. 본 연구는 학교상담 사례관리가 보다 안정적이고 지속 가능한 실천이 되기 위해 필요한 구조적·제도적 기반과 정책적 함의를 제공한다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

This study explores the lived experiences of school counselors in case management and aims to understand the characteristics and challenges of case management within school counseling practices. Using the Consensual Qualitative Research (CQR) method, in-depth interviews were conducted with eight school counselors from elementary, middle, and high schools. The findings reveal that case management in school settings is perceived not merely as individual support but as a holistic intervention that coordinates multiple aspects of students’ lives. Counselors highlighted the need for collaborative case management systems, structured information-sharing mechanisms, and sustainable partnerships with community resources. The study also reveals that counselors, while serving as de facto case managers, often face institutional limitations and emotional exhaustion due to insufficient recognition and support. This study provides practical and policy-level implications for strengthening systemic and organizational foundations for effective and sustainable case management in school counseling.
