기독교적 가정 이해와 한국 교회의 과제 = A Christian Understanding of Family and the Responsibility of Korean Churches

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Although the family has existed as an important institution for forming individuals and society, the identity and essence of family have been very vague in our times. Keeping in mind the close correlation between family and Christian faith, changes in the family that are weakened and losing its essence must be recognized as a serious crisis and danger that undermine Christian faith. Despite much interest in the family, the Korean church is showing limitations in reflecting the problems of modern family and presenting Christian alternative.
This paper illuminates the nature of the Christian family and the Christian values that the church should pursue as a community of faith.
An understanding of family based on the biblical and theological foundation requires serious reflection since the nature of family is closely linked to the nature of the Creator God as well as the essence of the church. By looking at the nature of the Christian family that is oriented toward the community of the kingdom of God, this paper sought to find Christian values that both the family and the church should pay attention to.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

가정은 오랜 역사를 통해 개인 및 사회를 형성하는 중요한 제도로서 존재해왔음에도 불구하고, 시대사회적 변화에 따라 가정의 정체성 및 본질은 대단히 모호하고 유약해지는 결과로 이어지고 있다. 기독교적 관점에서 가정은 작은 천국으로서 기독교 신앙과의 긴밀한 상관관계를 유념할 때, 유약해지고 본질을 상실하고 있는 가정의 변화들은 기독교 신앙을 훼손하는 심각한 위기이자 위험으로 인식할 수 있어야 한다. 한국교회는 가정의 기독교적 가치를 존중하고 가정과 관련한 사역에 많은 관심을 기울이고 있지만, 가정의 본질에 대한 성서적 이해 및 사회 변화에 대한 통찰력 결여로 현대가정이 직면하고 있는 문제들을 포용하고 기독교적 대안을 제시하는 데 한계를 나타내고 있다.
본 논문은 시대사회적 변화에 따라 본질적인 변화를 겪고 있는 가정의 모습을 살펴보고, 기독교적 가정의 본질 및 신앙 공동체로서 교회가 추구해야 할 성서적 가치에 대해 조명하고자 하였다. 성서적·신학적 토대에 근거한 가정 이해는 사랑, 용서, 희생, 헌신 등의 신앙적 가치를 경험하는 장(場)으로서뿐 아니라 창조주 하나님의 본성을 반영하며 신앙 공동체로서 교회의 본질적 특성과 연계되어 있다는 점에서 진지한 성찰이 요구된다. 언약사상과 삼위일체 신학에 근거하여 창조질서에 따라 신성함이 존중되는 기독교적 가정의 본질이 보다 근원적인 관계, 즉 하나님 나라 공동체로 확대되고 있음을 살펴봄으로써 오늘날 가정과 교회가 함께 주목해야 할 기독교적 가치를 모색하고자 하였다.
