상상력, 다의성, 그리스도교 신앙 = 하이데거의 상상력 논의와 리쾨르의 다의성 논의에 내포된 신학적 함의

국문 초록 (Abstract)

신앙의 개별화, 그리고 이 개별화된 신앙들 사이의 조화를 통한 공동체 신앙의 형성은 그리스도교 신학에서 지속적으로 논의되는 주제이다. 본고는 이 주제를 다루기 위해 선험적 상상력에 대한 하이데거의 실존론적-존재론적 논의와 언어의 다의성에 대한 리쾨르의 현상학적-해석학적 논의를 연관지어 탐구한다. 그리고 이를 토대로 본고의 논의는 다음의 세가지 결론들을 도출한다. 첫째, 선험적 상상력은 순수한 시간의 상을 형성하여 직관적이고 개별화된 존재이해를 가능케 한다. 둘째, 신앙은 선험적 상상력으로부터 발원하여 그 존재론적이고 시간적인 본질에 근거해서 신–인 관계의 가능성을 부단히 길어내려는 시간적 희망의 행위로 구현된다. 셋째, 선험적 상상력으로부터 발원하여 개별화된 신앙은 언어의 다의성을 담화 내에 구현하는 은유의 방법을 통해 공동체의 신앙으로 새롭게 지양된다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Christian theology has unceasingly involved the arguments for the isolation of faith and the formation of community’s faith through the reconciliation between isolated faiths. To deal with this issue in a phenomenological way, this paper explores Heidegger’s existential-ontological thought of transcendental imagination and Ricoeur’s phenomenological - hermeneutic idea of linguistic polysemy. This exploration would lead this paper to the conclusions that transcendental imagination, forming the pure ‘Bild’ of time, makes possible intuitive and isolated understanding of being; that faith, derived from transcendental imagination, constantly seeks the possibility of Divine - human relationship on the basis of its ontological and temporal essence; and that isolated faith, originated from transcendental imagination, sublates itself into community’s faith through metaphor, by which linguistic polysemy is realized in discourses.
The phenomenological reflection upon human imagination and linguistic polysemy, I believe, would shed light on their relation to the faith of an individual Dasein and a Church community. Faith, at its most fundamental level, liberates both the individual self and the community, an act what might be called freedom. A genuinely intuitive grasp and fundamental understanding of Dasein and language would render Christian faith to be more adequate to fit us into the world, that is, the ontic aspects of human reality.
