교회교육의 대안 모색: 어린이부를 중심으로 = Alternatives to the Church Education －Focus on the Children's Ministryby

The purpose of this article is to consider effective children's ministry in terms of comprehensive educational eccology. To cope with traditional children's ministry, I have developed a new direction of children's ministry that is located in the comprehensive educational eccology. Finally, I have suggested possible changes and alternatives for future.
Throughout this thesis, I have emphasized three educational eccology that is 'congregation', 'children's family', and 'small group', and explored how to enhance these eccology.
First, I have explained various problems that traditional children's ministry has, and then suggested networking power that is 'congregation'. Children's ministry is a reality integrated into entire church. therefore this article have handled church school in the context of whole church and congregation's life, and suggested practical guide.
Second, I have mentioned the crisis of church school which is separated from children's parents. and I have insisted partnership with children's family, and then introduced the attitude on family-friendly children's ministry. In addition to, I have proposed feasible methods that can perform family-friendly children's ministry.
Third, I have proposed small group that is not schooling system but family type, and suggested several implications regarding to children's small group.
Heretofore, I have intended to construct children's ministry which will enable children to belong to faith community. And I have explained family-friendly children's ministry, and then proposed practical know-how in detail.
Through this study and further discussions, I wish that church school still remains as the God's agency for the next generation.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 논문의 목적은 어린이부서를 둘러싸고 있는 포괄적인 교육생태학의 관점에서 효과적인 어린이사역을 고찰하는 것이다. 어린이사역의 위기를 극복하기 위한 방안으로서, 어린이부서 그 자체에 대한 문제 해결이 아니라 어린이부서를 둘러싼 포괄적인 교육생태(교육환경과 체제)를 비판적으로 성찰한다. 그런 다음, 교육 생태환경의 복원을 위한 구체적이고 가능한 대안과 방법을 소개한다.
구체적으로, 2장 본론에서 ‘교회의 회중’, ‘어린이의 가정’, ‘가족형 어린이 소그룹’ 이라는 세 가지 교육 생태환경을 논하며 이를 강화할 방안을 탐구한다.
첫째, ‘교회의 회중’이라는 인적 네트워크 파워를 강화하는 일이다. 어린이사역은 전체교회 사역과 분리된 한 부분이 아니라 통합되어 있는 실재이다. 본 논문은 교회학교를 ‘교회의 사역과 회중의 삶’ 이라는 보다 광범위한 맥락 내에서 다루며, 이를 위한 구체적인 방안들을 소개한다.
둘째, 어린이의 부모와 분리된 교회학교의 위기를 언급하면서 ‘어린이의 가정’과 파트너쉽을 이룰 수 있는 어린이사역을 제시한다. 구체적으로, 가족친화적인 사역을 위한 자세와 부모와 함께하는 어린이사역을 효과적으로 성취하기 위한 실제적인 방안들을 소개한다.
마지막으로, 학교구조가 아닌 가족형 ‘소그룹’ 인프라를 강화하는 일이다. 본 논문은 교회학교의 학교형 구조와 그 문제점을 다루면서, 이를 극복하기 위한 방안으로서 교회학교를 지배해오던 학교식 전통과 구조를 과감하게 탈피하여 가족형 사역으로 전환할 것을 주장한다. 그리고 가족형 어린이 소그룹의 운영방안과 실제를 현장사례를 통해 제시한다.
본 연구와 후속연구및 피이드백을 통해, 필자는 교회학교가 다음세대를 향한 하나님의 기관으로 주목할 만한 희망의 징표로 존재하기를 원한다.
