교회의 사명 수행을 위한 교육목회: BCM 교육목회제도 = An Educational Ministry System for Achieving Missions of the Church: The Body of Christ Model

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This article is an idea of educational ministry in purpose of achieving missions of the church. Korean churches has disregarded the original missions as a result of too much focus on evangelism abroad and church growth. This article claims that a possibility to overcome the problems stated above lies on introduction of a new system of educational ministry.
The new system of educational ministry, called ‘BCM’, is an concept which is deriven from the term, “Body of Christ”, a biblical term of ecclesiology. The system concentrates on an sharing organic quality and its interaction in which head, eyes, hands, heart and feet, all of which are limbs of the body of Christ, are harmoniously combinated. BCM., based on system theory, suggests the-twenty-concepts which comes out of relations between essential components of the church: individual, small group, congregation, the Bible/traditions, and society. Then, the system concretizes the concepts in newly created terms of “Saeghim　maru”　(impress ridge or floor) or “Somang maru”(hope ridge or floor) by categorizing the concepts and connecting them to the missions of the church, such as kerygma, didache, and so on, Finally, the categorized concepts in “maru”(ridge or floor) creates the twenty “Teo”(site or ground) corresponding to the twenty concepts.
To finalize, it can be expected that BCM, an educational ministry system, educationally restorate the shape of churches running for its growth and evangelism, make it revive the original mission of the church, and most of all, open a new possibility of church education in which the body of christ is fulfilled by communal education instead of church education having been eceesively focused on schooling system.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

한국 교회는 90년대 이후 성장이 정체되고 있다. 이를 극복하기 위해 한국 교회는 이제까지 해 온 것처럼 성장 중심의 전략을 통해 극복하려 하고 있다. 이와 같은 한국 교회의 전략은 선교 이외의 교회의 사명을 외면한 데서 오는 실패를 반성하지 않고 있음을 보여주는 사례이다. 이제 한국 교회는 케리그마, 레이투르기아, 디다케, 코이노니아, 디아코니아 등의 본질적 교회의 사명에 충실해야 하며, 그럴 때 따라오는 교회의 성장이야 말로 정상적인 성장이라고 할 수 있을 것이다.
한국 교회가 본래의 교회의 사명에 충실해서 교회의 본래 모습을 회복하기 위해서는 거듭된 실패가 예상되는 이제까지의 선교와 성장 위주의 전력을 버리고 교육적 전략을 취해야 할 것이다. 여기서 ‘교육적’이라고 하는 말은 교수－학습 상황과 같은 좁은 의미의 교육을 말하는 것이 아니라 목회와 연관된 교육을 말하는 것이다. 교육이 목회에서 제 역할을 감당할 때 교회의 사명을 이루어 가는 목회의 가능성은 높아질 것으로 생각된다. 교육적 관점에서의 목회를 통한 교회의 사명을 수행하고자 하려는 시도가 이 논문의 의도이다.
이 논문에서 제안하고자 하는 교육목회 제도의 명칭은 “BCM”이다. 이는 여러 교회론 중에서 ‘그리스도의 몸’(the Body of Christ) 개념으로부터 온 것이다. ‘그리스도의 몸’ 교회론은 다양한 층으로 이루어진 현실 교회의 유기적 성격을 잘 표현해 주고 있으며 ‘그리스도의 몸’을 이루는 교회 구성원들 간의 상호작용의 필요성의 근거를 제시해주고 있다. ‘그리스도의 몸’이라는 성서적 교회론을 가장 잘 표현하고 구체화할 수 있는 이론으로 BCM은 시스템 이론을 채택하고 있다.
