한국 상담자의 수퍼비전을 위한 다문화 사회정의 상담 수퍼비전의 통합방안 탐색 = Exploration of Integrating Multi-cultural Social Justice Counseling Supervision for Korean Counselors

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

In this study, the researcher explored how can integrate multi-cultural social justice counseling into the supervision for Korean counselors. This is because it is difficult for the counselor who has never experienced multi-cultural social justice supervision to successfully conduct multi-cultural social justice counseling. To this end, the researcher reviewed the preceding studies related to the supervision such as; multi-cultural social justice counseling competency, multi-cultural social justice counseling supervision, and outlined the plan to apply multi-cultural social justice counseling supervision for Korean counselors. As it is still difficult to find prior researches on the multi-cultural social justice counseling supervision in Korea, the research reviewed mainly studies from overseas. The results are as follows: for an effective supervision in Korea where the hierarchy of supervisory relations is strong, it was necessary to integrate the multi-cultural social justice counseling supervision, specifically, providing a safe supervision atmosphere, establishing cultural relations, understanding individual in the system, empowering, and advocacy needed to be noted and utilized. The study also discussed the reasons why it is not actively applied in the field despite the widespread awareness of the need for multi-cultural social justice counseling supervision and what should be prepared to activate it.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구에서는 다문화 사회정의 상담 수퍼비전을 한국 상담자를 위한 수퍼비전에 통합하는 방안에 대해 탐색하였다. 다문화 사회정의 상담 수퍼비전을 받아보지 못한 상담자가 상담현장에서 그것을 성공적으로 실시하기는 어렵기 때문이다. 이를 위해 수퍼비전, 다문화 사회정의 상담 수퍼비전 역량, 다문화 사회정의 상담 수퍼비전의 지침에 관련된 선행연구들을 검토하고, 한국 상담자를 위한 다문화 사회정의 상담 수퍼비전 적용방안을 정리하였다. 아직 국내에서는 다문화 사회정의 상담 수퍼비전 관련 선행 연구를 찾아보기 어려워서 다문화 사회정의 수퍼비전 관련 연구는 해외의 것들을 중심으로 검토하였다. 연구 결과 수퍼비전 관계의 위계성이 강한 한국에서 효과적인 수퍼비전을 진행하기 위해서는 다문화 사회정의 상담 수퍼비전을 통합할 필요가 있으며, 구체적으로는 안전한 수퍼비전 분위기 제공, 문화적 관계 형성, 체계 속의 개인 이해, 역량강화와 옹호에 주목하고 활용할 필요가 있었다. 아울러 다문화 사회정의 상담 수퍼비전의 필요성에 대한 인식의 확산에도 불구하고 현장에서 활발하게 적용되지 않는 이유와 다문화 사회정의 상담 수퍼비전의 활성화를 위해 준비해야 할 것은 무엇인지를 논의하였다.
