교회의 돌봄 사역: Heinz Kohut의 자아심리학과 신약의 제자의 모습을 통한 돌봄 사역자의 자세

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 논문은 교회안의 목회 돌봄 사역을 위한 돌봄 사역자들의 자세에 관해 논한다. 돌봄 사역자들이 갖추어야 할 자세로서 주님의 돌봄의 모습을 제시하고 돌봄 사역에 참여하는 자들의 자세가 이를 닮아야 함을 강조한다. 먼저 현대 심리학의 주요한 이론 중의 하나로서 교회의 돌봄 사역 이론에서 자주 언급되는 Heinz Kohut의 자아 심리학이 제시하는 돌봄 자세의 중요성과 효과에 대해서 논한다. 그리고 심리학 이론으로서 갖는 이 이론의 인본주의적 약점을 비판하면서, 이 이론이 기여한 진실한 돌봄의 자세의 필요와 이의 치유 효과에 대해서는 신학적으로 재해석하여 사용하되 인본주의적 위험들은 거부해야 함을 강조한다. 더 강력하고 보다 성경적인 돌봄의 자세를 위해, Kohut의 자아 심리학이 제시한 공감적 돌봄의 자세를 예수 그리스도의 돌봄의 사역 안에서 재해석 한다. 이를 통해 교회의 돌봄 사역의 동기와 과정은 인간의 관계의 필요를 채우기 위한 것이 아니라 그리스도의 고난과 죽음 안에 나타난 하나님의 사랑이 되어야 함을 강조한다. 예수의 돌봄의 모습을 닮아가는 것이 제자의 모습이며 돌봄 사역자가 가져야할 자세임을 지적한 후, 이러한 돌봄의 자세가 지역교회 사역에 갖는 함축성을 제시한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This article discusses an attitude of care-givers in the area of church’s caring ministry. it suggests Jesus’caring ministry as an ideal attitude of care-giving and emphasizes the necessity of this attitude to the caregivers. To do this, this essay first discusses the importance and effects of care-givers’attitude mentioned in Heinz Kohut’s Self Psychology, an often-mentioned theory in pastoral care literature. After evaluation on the theory, then, discussion on the necessity of the reinterpretation of Kohut’s contribution in terms of Jesus’caring ministry is followed. For more powerful and biblical attitude of church’s care-givers, the article tries to reinterpret the empathic caring attitude in the light of Jesus’caring ministry. Through this reinterpretation, this essay argues that the cause and process of church’s caring ministry must be based on God’s love that is best revealed in Jesus’suffering and death, not on the meeting the relational needs in people. After pointing out that imitating Jesus’caring attitude is an essential element of discipleship, and church’s care-givers should follow this, the essay provides some implications of this discipleship attitude in caring people at church.
