The establishment of the constitutional right to sports has various reasons, through which it can promote the enhancement of public health, social cohesion, and individual self-realization. Engaging in sports activities plays a crucial role in improving physical health and preventing diseases. By explicitly specifying the right to sports in the constitution, it supports citizens in leading healthier lives. Moreover, as legislative actions are bound by constitutional principles, future legislation is likely to proceed in a manner that ensures the constitutional right to sports. Through such legislation, sports serve as a powerful tool for uniting diverse individuals, fostering social solidarity and integration, and reducing social conflicts. Guaranteeing sports activities as a constitutional right ensures equal opportunities for participation among all citizens. This, in turn, provides important opportunities for personal fulfillment and self-realization, contributing to individuals' mental well-being and happiness. Additionally, by protecting and promoting sports as a constitutional right, it enhances cultural diversity and richness by recognizing sports as a part of culture. Furthermore, from an economic standpoint, the sports industry holds significant economic value, creating job opportunities, attracting tourism, and enhancing a nation's international reputation through successful participation in international sports events. Encouraging sports through constitutional provisions can support these goals. Therefore, by enshrining the right to sports in the constitution, the government can promote citizens' participation in sports and ensure institutional support in terms of policies and finances. Ultimately, this contributes to improving the quality of life for citizens and fostering a healthy and vibrant society.
