코퍼스를 이용한 루마니아어 기초어휘의 의미망 구축과 활용 방안 연구 = Studies on constructing semantic network of Romanian basic vocabulary on the basis of Corpus and plan for it's practical use.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 논문은 크게 두 가지 목표를 가지고 있다. 첫 번째는 루마니아어의 기초어휘에 대한 계량적 연구를 통해서 그 구체적인 모습을 확인하는 것이다. 두 번째는 이를 통해 얻어진 기초어휘들의 의미망 구성 및 의미 기술방법을 연구하여 교육 자료로 활용할 수 있는 방안을 모색하는것이다. 일반적으로 어휘는 핵심 부분인 ‘기초어휘’와 그 외의 ‘일반어휘’로 나누어질 수 있다 각 언어별로 기초어휘를 규정하는 기준은 조금씩 차이가 있을 수 있으나， 빈도수， 역사성 등에서 대부분 비슷한 특정을 보이고 있다 기초어휘를 연구하는 장점 가운데 하나는 ‘어휘’라는 요소가 유동성이 크기 때문에 그 본질을 파악하기 어려운 면이 있는데， 기초어휘는 높은 빈도수와 장고한 역사를 가진 어휘의 핵심부분으로써 어휘의 본질적인 측면을 보여줄 수 있다는 점이다. 루마니아에서 기초어휘에 대한 연구는 이미 19세기 중반에 시작되
었으며 20세기 중반에는 그 구체적인 목록이 만들어졌다 하지만 이 목록이 만들어질 당시의 연구방법에는 데이터를 기반으로 한 빈도 수 확인 작업이 생략되어있었다. 이에 본 연구에서는 최근 들어서 발전한 컴퓨터를 이용한 대용량 자료처리 기술의 도움으로 기초어휘를 조사하기 위하여 코퍼스 분석을 시도하였고 이를 통해 얻은 정보를 바탕으로 기존의 기초어휘 목록과 비교 분석하여 그 목록을 재구성하였다. 재구성된 기초어휘 목록에서 활용도가 높은 어휘를 대상으로 어휘의 의미망을 구축하는 방안을 연구하였다. 어휘 의미망 구축의 방법으로는 어휘 의미를 구성하는 가지는 두 가지 큰 축이라고 할 수 있는，계열적 의미와 통합적 의미를 중심으로 의미를 분석하고 기술하는 방안을 찾아보았다. 계열적인 의미에서는 상-하위어 관계， 반의어 관계，유의어 관계， 동일 외연관계를 살펴보았고 통합적인의미에서는 어휘가
담화내에서 사용될 때 맺어지는 연어적 관계를 살펴보았다. 마지막으로， 본 연구에서는 기초어휘 연구과정에서 얻어진 정보를 어휘 교육에서 활용할 수 있는 몇 가지 방안을 하이퍼링크(hyperlink)와 의미적 클러스터(semantic cluster) 라는 개념을 중심으로 제안 하였다. 기초어휘의 수는 적지만 그 중요성은 일반어휘에 비해서 대단히크다고 할 수 있으며 이 런 점은 외국어 교육에서 다루어져야 할 부분인 것으로 사료된다. 특히 기초어휘에서 일반적으로 나타나는 다의성은
그 어휘를 전체적으로 이해하고 정확하게 사용하는데 장벽으로 작용하는 경우가 있기 때문에 이에 대한 체계적인 정보를 제공할 수 있는 방안을 연구하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this article is establishing Romanian basic vocabulary and designing semantic network of this vocabulary for preparing educational materials of Romanian as a foreign language. Generally, vocabulary of a
language is consist of essential part, which is called as 'basic vocabulary' and the rest of the basic vocabulary. Every language has their own criteria of stipulating the basic vocabulary and try to research this part of vocabulary in diverse ways. Basic words usually have long history, stabilized status and high frequency. So one of the most important advantages of researching this basic vocabulary is the that basic vocabulary can reveal a clear and substantial physiognomy of lexical aspects of a language which is hard to be shown due to the flexibility of a vocabulary. The characteristic aspect of Romanian basic vocabulary is high percent of Latin origin words. Researches on basic vocabulary of Romanian language begun at the middle of
19th century and at the middle of 20th century a concrete list of basic vocabulary has been completed. But when the word list was completed researches on frequencies based on corpus data -which is very important work in confirming the word status as a basic vocabulary- were omitted. So in this research I tried to compare the ready made basic vocabulary list of 20 th century with a new list of vocabulary sorted by the frequency of
words by using computer based analysis on corpus. I revised and reconstructed the list by adding some high frequency rate words with important meanings. Even if the number of words listed in basic vocabulary is small, the importance of these words could not be ignored. So concentration on basic words in learning vocabulary could be considered as a very efficient way for foreign language learners. Especially this will be useful for a language like Romanian which is not used on international level. Not being an international language means barriers in contacts with the language. For this purpose in this research, I tried to design and find out the way of describing the systematic meanings of basic vocabulary. For this I used the concepts of meanings which could be explained in two axes of relation: syntagmatic relation and syntactic relation. In syntagmatic relation I tried to explain ways of describing in parts like hypernym-hyponym, antonym, synonym, same category of extension, from syntactic relation I tried to explain the collocational relations from a discours. Finally, I tried to make suggestions of this data useful for making language education material.
