장기요양 필요노인 부양자의 시설입소결정 경험에 관한 근거이론접근 = An Approach Based on Grounded Theory about the Caregivers' Decision-Making Process for Using a Nursing Home

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to explore and describe the experiences of the family caregivers using a nursing home, and to assess decision-making process how they choose the nursing home to have the elderly entered. Participants for this study were 10 caregivers. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and analyzed using Strauss and Corbin's grounded theory methodology. As a result of analysis, the core phenomenon of the caregivers' decision-making using a nursing home was 'A ray of hope while nobody can manage it' , and 「Achieving harmonious relationship by throwing away continuing distress of caregivers' burden and sense of guilt」was constructed as the core category through the causal conditions, contextual conditions, intervening conditions, the action/interaction strategy and conclusion. In addition, there were accepting,suffering, decision-making, satisfaction and maturing phases by step by step while caregivers decided to use a nursing home. After using a nursing home,caregivers were grouped by guilty conscience, anxious, affirmative, and maturing types.
