특성화를 위한 체육전공 자격제도의 전망 = The Future of Qualification Examination System for the Specializing Physical Education Major

Not many exercise professionals sweated as much as the Korean athletes did, therefore, the necessity of sports medicine team in college boundary is prominent to make an advance in sports medicine area for the athletes' health and safeties. Here, Yong In University has launched the team of sports medicine to open the athletic trainers' curriculum and prepare the educational setting for the students who want to be athletic trainer in the future. The historical background of sports medicine in Korea was noted even its period seemed so short compared to the western countries. Mainly, the program, curriculum, and their roles of sports medicine team in Yong In University were explained. By those background and reviewing the past of Korea sports specialist and their roles and the future, our sports medicine team of Yong In University could be assistive to the curriculum of physical education major as well as martial arts major for their acquiring of professional license related to the filed of sports activities in Korea. Specially, sports medicine field and its related license such as excercise specialist or sports rehabilitation specialist were noted for the understanding of the needs of license in physical education major students in the future.
