      This study is to investigate the difference of the counter transference management ability according to the career and the training experience of playtherapist; and to understand the relation between the countertransference management ability and the self-consciousness. The subjects of this research are 134 playtherapists who had experienced more than one case of the playtherapy. The tool which has been used for this research was the CFI(Countertransference Factors Inventory) and the self-consciousness Scale(Fenigstein etc. 1975). To analyze the data, the one-way ANOVA and the stepwise regression analysis were conducted. The results of this investigation are as follows; 1) The countertransference management ability has been shown highly when the career level of the playtherapist was higher, and when the playtherapist has more experience of training experience, supervision.
