영아의 정서조절능력 관련 변인 탐색 = An exploration of the variables concerning infants` emotion regulation ability

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This research aims at discovering the relative influence of the variables related to the infant`s emotion regulation ability, having investigated the relationships between the infant`s emotion regulation ability, and their individual factors and child-rearing factors. The subjects were 103 toddlers and their mothers. Collected data through scale of infant development and questionnaires were analysed. The major results of this research are as follows: First, as to the variables related to the infants, investigation results showed that there were negative correlations between the emotion regulation abilities, and activity, adaptability and mood, while there were positive correlations between the emotion regulation abilities, and attachment, stability and cognitive development among the infants` temperaments. Second, as to the variables related to child-rearing, the responsiveness to mother`s parenting attitude had a positive correlation with the infant`s emotion regulation abilities, while there were negative correlations between mother`s parenting stress and the infant`s emotion regulation abilities. Third, investigation about the infant`s emotion regulation abilities revealed that, the level of cognitive development in the infant related variables and the responsiveness to the mother`s parenting attitude in the mother related variables, exerted relative impact respectively. These results demonstrated implications concerning variables that have influence on the infant`s emotion regulation abilities.
