어머니의 양육스트레스가 영유아의 정서성 기질에 미치는 영향에서 긍정적 양육태도와 우울의 종단매개효과 = The Longitudinal Mediation Effects of Mothers’ Positive Parenting Attitude and Depression in the Influence of Mothers’ Parenting Stress to Infants’ Emotional Temperament

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to investigate the longitudinal mediation effects of mothers’ positive parenting attitude and depression in the influence of mothers’ parenting stress to infants’ emotional temperament. Autoregressive cross-lagged modeling was performed with three waves(2009-2011) of data from the Korea Institute of Child Care and Education. The summary of the results were as follows: First, mothers’ positive parenting attitude, depression, parenting stress and infants’ emotional temperament were significantly stable over time in the total 3 wave data. Second, mothers’ positive parenting attitude was proved to have significant full and partial mediating effects on the longitudinal relationship between maternal parenting stress and infants’ emotional temperament. Third, mothers’ depression was also proved to have significant mediating effects on the longitudinal relationship between mothers’ parenting stress and infants’ emotional temperament. The limitations of this study were discussed along with suggestions for the intervention to develop positive emotional temperament of infants.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 자기회귀교차지연모형을 적용한 구조방정식 모형분석을 통해 어머니의 양육스트레스와 유아의 기질 간의 관계에서 어머니의 긍정적 양육태도와 우울의 종단매개효과를 검증하는 것이었다. 이를 위해 한국아동패널의 2차부터 4차까지 3개년도의 종단자료를 활용하였다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 어머니의 양육스트레스, 긍정적 양육태도, 우울, 영유아의 정서성 기질이 시간의 경과에 따라 안정적인 특성을 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 어머니의 양육스트레스가 영유아의 정서성 기질에 미치는 영향 관계를 긍정적 양육태도가 유의미하게 종단적으로 매개하는 것으로 나타났으며, 종단적 부분매개모형이 지지되었다. 셋째, 어머니의 양육스트레스가 영유아의 정서성 기질에 미치는 영향 관계를 우울이 유의미하게 종단적으로 매개하는 것으로 나타났으며, 종단적 부분매개모형이 지지되었다. 마지막으로 본 연구결과의 시사점과 제한점 등에 대해 논의하였다.
