Ennin was a Japanese Buddhist in 9th century. He migrated to the Tang China to learn the Buddhism and stayed there during 9 years. A period of his travel, he kept writing his travel diary called Ennin's Travels in Tang China . In this travel book he recorded about Shragi's people who lived in the Tang. Special mention means putting is the case that the Shragi's people did much aid very kindly to Ennin. Why were the Shragi's people so cooperative to him? Because Chang Boko who was a leader of Shragi's people in the Tang supported him. He permitted boarding at Shragi's temple built by Chang in Sekizan and could be helped by Shragi's people in there. Chang Boko and Shragi's people met a close relation with Japan through their trading. And they didn't stick to the nationality and status. So they supported Ennin generously. He thanked them deeply. According to Ennin's biography he built a temple for God of Sekizan after returning his home country. But it is clearly different from Ennin's travel book written in the 9th century to his biography written in 10th century. God of Sekizan had changed from a foreign god to a Japanese palladium. The Change means that the gig diplomatic and cultural conversion has formed in Japan from the 9th to the 10th. After the 9th century, Japan rapidly became the autism and the nationalism. The time of Ennin and Chang Boko was the last blaze of East Asia collective.
