국내 블록버스터 전시의 흐름과 전시 문화 확산 = The Flow of the Blockbuster Exhibitions and the Expansion of the Exhibition Culture in Korea

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

‘Blockbuster Exhibitions' have been executed constantly in numerous museums and exhibition spaces in Korea.
Blockbuster Exhibitions are usually created with massive capital and attracted by large audiences. As a new exhibition form in Korea, advantages and disadvantages of it has been discussed, but it has not produced various discourses.
This study analyzed the overall flow and characteristic changes of the Blockbuster Exhibitions and their effects on exhibition culture and spaces compared to the early in Korea. I could build a pattern of the Korean Blockbuster exhibition chronologically, and specify the characters of each period in this study. In conclusion, the museum visitors number through Blockbuster Exhibitions has increased as providing opportunities to access arts or art exhibitions easily. Blockbuster Exhibition has been playing an important role for the audience development as well as the financial solutions in the museum marketing perspective, and a central role for spreading the exhibition culture in the public/ visitors perspective in Korea.
