The purpose of this study was to explore the adaptability of a new teacher training models and practical strategies for the field-oriented blended learning. Based on theoretical background on teacher learning community, teacher training models, practical strategies, and outlines of case study of field-oriented blended learning. The findings of this study are as follows; First, a basic training model of the field-oriented blended learning includes 1) basic learning, 2) online learning, 3) field-oriented experiential learning, and 4) feedback and advanced learning. Second, the course design strategies is classified into 1) setup of training objectives, 2) selection of training content, 3) selection of training method, and 4) planning of training evaluation. Third, the course management strategies were specified by the four steps of basic training model. Fourth, the outlines and learning modules of a special training program for struggling teachers were exemplified in this study. Finally I strongly suggest that the training models and practical strategies of the field-oriented blended learning should be implemented in Korea.
