This study is aimed at developing business Korean language courses for 3.4th grade learners in Korean studies at Chinese universities. China actively deepens economic and cultural exchanges with Korea. because of the Korean wave, such as Korean movies, dramas, In China, Korean language learners is rising steadily. At Chinese universities, Most of the graduates of the Korean language department hope to get a job in Korean companies or engage in trade work in Korea. However, It is true that even after graduating from the Korean language department of the Chinese university, Korean learners have poor ability of using Korean and hardly have time to communicate with Korean. so, it is the most necessary skill for them to communicate in Korean. In recent years most of Korean lesson is integrated lesson or the lesson focusing on reading and writing. There still few lessons focusing on speaking and listening yet. This paper conducted a study on the status and requirements of students in the 3.4th grade Korean major in Chinese University. In this study we survey the necessity of business Korean speaking class. Through the study we can make the standard of business Korean speaking class so that the learners are interacting with their work lives, colleagues or boss without difficulty,
In the first chapter, described the purpose and necessity of the study and reviews the preceding study. Based on this, the study referred to the direction in which it should proceed.
In the second chapter, defined the concept of business Korean language education and business language test through the precedent study.
In the third chapter, based on the theoretical content of the previous chapter, analyzed the business Korean textbooks used by Chinese universities. The study conducted a survey of Korean language majors in 3.4th grade who are learning Korean. Through the survey we can recognize the need to learn the business Korean language. This study also conducted a survey of employees with learned experience.
In the fourth chapter, For Korean language major learners in 3rd and 4th grade, set up the vocational purpose Korean speaking education contents and educational methods.
At final chapter, summarized the whole study and rechecked the meaning of the study. After that, identified the limitations of the study and presented for the tasks to be further studied.
This study carry out the need for business Korean speaking education and set up a teaching method that reflects the situation of speaking in the workplace. Through compare the business textbooks published in Korea with the business textbooks published in China, discuss the lack of business textbooks. Because of the difference in language characteristics are used by companies. We expect that business Korean speaking education more specific and effective be researched.
