일본 사회복지정보화의 형성과 전개 = The Developmental Process of Welfare Informatization in Japan

During recent years, Japan has become totally engulfed by the so called information revolution. Japanese lives have become profoundly influenced by the informatization and the associated rapid growth and development in communication technology.
Informatization in social welfare has tended to lag behind that has occurred in both government and in the business field. But in Japan, welfare informatization has developed since 1970s.
This study has described to the Japanese welfare informatization During the past two decades Japanese society has been undergoing a period of rapid change in informatization. In Japan, welfare field is under increasing efforts to informatize to improve efficiency in mission accomplishment, as well as delivery of information and services to the public.
Our society still has several problems such as : lack of discussion on concept of welfare informatization and lack of the developmental efforts.
But the effects of the introduction and development of welfare informatization are the improvement of the quality of live of the aged and the improvement of administrative efficiency, especially the delivery system of services.
