    Masan O-gwangdai was played at the departure day of cargo boat. This day was the opening day of Byeolsinje. The mask play was held in that place after the sacrificial rites and the practices of exorciser. Seongsinje held by fisheries matchmakers union of Masan fish market maintained this tradition. The threshing ground at Jasandong and Sanhaigwan at Sanhodong are known as the performing places of Masan O-gwangdai. The threshing ground at Jasandong is the space of both sacrificial rites and performance of mask play. This, along with Sanhaigwan, is related to house of sacrificial rites and is identical as performing place of gwangdai. Until Jochang is abolished the officials supervised Byeolsinje and mask play. Since 1905 the initiatives falled into commission agent and after the abolishment of Seongsinje gisaings held the mask play for the purpose of commercial entertainment. The main group of Masan O-gwangdai has multi-layered structure. Before the introduction of Bammari O-gwangdai, there was a native mask play of which main group was exorcists. the professional gwangdai was the main group at the time Byeolsinje reappeared as Seongsinje. In 1930`s gisaings became main group since Masan Gweonbeon has been dissolved. Thereafter Masan O-gwangdai lost its playing basis along with disappearing main group of mask play due to cease of Seongsinje.
