성격에 관한 호르몬적 접근 및 5요인 모형과의 관련성 = Hormonal Approach on Personality and Its Relation to Five-factor Model

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to investigate personality traits of Korean people. In the present study, FRI-NQ(Fisher-Rich-Island Neurochemical Questionnaire) was translated into Korean, originally developed by Helen Fisher and her colleagues in 2010. The subjects were 402 Korean adults, who were tested with Korean versions of FRI-NQ and NEO-FFI. The results are the following. First, there were significant gender differences in the scales of Neuroticism and Extraversion of NEO-FFI, in which females were more neurotic than males whereas males were more extravert than females. Secondly, the four subscales(Dopamine, Serotonin, Testosterone, and Estrogen) of FRI-NQ showed significant means differences across gender and college majors. Thirdly, the results of correlational studies between NEO-FFI and FRI-NQ revealed that the Dopamine scale was positively correlated with Extraversion and Openness scales of NEO-FFI. Serotonin scale was very highly and positively correlated with Conscientiousness scale, but negatively correlated with Openness scale.
