한국 근대 초기 음양 이중력의 형성과 의미

국문 초록 (Abstract)

대한제국시기에 발행된 음양 이중력은 자주독립국가의 건설을 지향하면서도 그와 같은 과제를 여전히 전통 동아시아의 중화주의적 세계관 속에서 해결하려는 정부의 의지가 반영되어 나타난 것이다. 음양 이중력의 출현은 우연의 산물이 아니라, 서구 태양력이 지닌 근대적 요소를 의도적으로 제약하고자 했던 정부의 의지에 의하여 고안된 것이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

While the government pursued national independence, it took efforts to achieve the task within the Confucianism-centered worldview of traditional East Asia. The appearance of traditional-modern dual calendar was not a result of contingency but a product of invention by the government that intentionally tried to restrict the modern factors included in western solar calendar.
