‘코로나 블루’ 시대에 설교의 역할과 방향 제언 = Suggestion of the Role and Direction of Preaching in the Corona Blue Era

With the coronavirus 2019 pandemic continuing over a prolonged period, the “Corona Blue” phenomenon, a feeling of depression due to the pandemic, has emerged. Corona Blue is a serious social phenomenon, which also affects Christians. How should the church overcome the Corona Blue? Preaching should be the core instrument in this regard.
This study examines the desired role and direction of preaching in the Corona Blue era. Preaching is a means of grace; it should play a counseling role to support God's people and relieve their pain. Good preaching can transform the audience. Therefore, preaching in the Corona Blue era can play a key role in creating hope.
For those suffering from Corona Blue, God-centered preaching will help to focus on the revelation of the Almighty. Further, the sermons should preach that the Gospel is our fundamental comfort rather than any worldly means. It should be possible to present the eschatological hope of longing for one’s homeland. In addition, we must not forget the need for active participation of the audience during sermons. The proclamation of proper sermons in the Corona Blue era will enable the audience to establish themselves as healthy people in the kingdom of God.
