중국 양로원 시설의 거주환경 실태조사 연구 - 창춘시 소재 양로원 시설을 중심으로 - = The Living Conditions of Nursing Homes in China - Focused on Nursing Homes in ChangChun City -

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to identify living conditions, requirements and demands of nursing homes in China. We conducted the intensive interview with 20 elderly people who are over 65 years old and live in two nursing homes. The interview was adopted for the elderly people to understand and respond to questions verbally, which is more comfortable than a paper-based survey. The interview was composed of question items related to general information, safety, convenience, health, sociality, and comfort. Overall, the elderly residents were satisfied with the nursing home environment, but they were somewhat dissatisfied with their nursing home in terms of convenience and sociality. In order to reduce the social isolation of the elderly, various community facilities should be established to increase the interaction among the residents considering the characteristics of the elderly. Also, customized health exam and management systems should be provided in nursing homes for the elderly’s physical and psychological health. This study that provide basic data for a desirable building plan of nursing homes could be the basis for the improvement of the living environments of Chinese nursing homes.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 현재 중국의 양로원 거주실태와 요구사항을 파악하고, 중국 양로원 거주환경 개선방안을 제안하고자 한다. 본 연구를 위해 각 양로원에 거주하는 65세 이상 남녀 노인 총 20명을 대상으로 면접조사를 하였다. 노인거주자들을 대상으로 하는 설문조사 내용은 크게 일반사항, 안전성사항, 편리성사항, 건강성사항, 사회성사항, 쾌적성사항 6개 조사 항목으로 구성하였다. 전반적으로 노인거주자들은 양로원 환경에 대해 만족하고 있었지만, 세부적으로 살펴보았을 때는 편리성과 사회성 측면에서는 노인거주자들이 자신들의 양로원 환경에 대해 다소 불만족하고 있었다. 노인들의 사회적 고립감을 줄이기 위해서는 노인들의 특성을 고려하여 거주자간의 교류증가를 위한 다양한 커뮤니티 시설을 설치해야 한다. 또한, 노인의 신체적 및 심리적 맞춤형 건강 검진 및 관리 서비스를 제공해야 한다. 본 연구는 바람직한 양로원 건축계획에 대한 기초자료를 제공함으로써 중국 양로원 생활환경개선을 위한 기반이 될 수 있다.
