다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Recently, immigrants who are staying in Korea have been dominant Because the number of immigrants settling in Korea grows, discussion respecting the diversity of immigrants has gradually been increased. Currently, the score for the issuance of new visas is determined on qualifications of residence, permanent residence, and naturalization. Therefore, the number of immigrants who wanted to participate in the Korean Immigration and Integration Program (KIIP) that could get the additional points has been increasing, when issuing visas. The purpose of this study was to advance Understanding Korean society (basic) , operated by Ministry of Justice, consisted of KIIP 5th Step, which is providing necessary information for residence and settlement in Korea (This study will apply Understanding Korean society (basic) , operated by Ministry of Justice, consisted of KIIP 5th Step as Understanding Korean society (basic) . A result of analyzing the research participants shown that step of fluent Korean actually helps Korean life. However, grammar and vocabulary learning were difficult, so it was difficult to understand the contents of the text. And the ability to use what i have learned in everyday life was insufficient Moreover, life of Korea was hard because of their racist attitude of Koreans.
