선택적 함묵아의 놀이치료 사례 = A case study on play therapy for a child who has selective mutism

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 母의 우울증과 불안 때문에 양육 환경이 일관되지 못하여 욕구 충족 및 관심을 얻지 못해 함묵을 욕구 만족을 위한 수단으로 선택한 아동의 사례이다.
의뢰된 아동의 주호소 내용은 함묵과 공격적인 성향이었으며, 아동의 자신감 향상과 언어로 다른 사람을 조정할 필요가 없다는 것을 인식시키기 위해 놀이치료 프로그램을 계획․적용하였다. 놀이치료 프로그램은 주당 2회 50분씩 52회, 종결기는 주 1회 50분 4회, 총 56회를 실시하였다. 본 연구 대상 아동의 선택적 함묵 증상은 아동의 성격 특성 및 母의 비일관된 양육 태도 때문이라 보고 놀이치료에서는 아동이 감정을 표출하고, 자신과 타인의 감정을 인식하며, 자기를 솔직히 드러내도록 하는데 치료적 주안점을 두었으며 母를 대상으로 일관된 양육 태도를 유지하도록 교육하였다. 놀이치료 적용 결과, 아동은 자기 표현이 자유스러워지고, 또래 환경에 긍정적으로 적응하는 모습을 보였다. 母 역시 아동의 욕구에 민감히 반응하고, 객관적으로 아동 상태를 파악할 수 있게 되었다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This case study is for the child who selects refusing to talk as the means of need-satisfaction. Because she is not able to get need-satisfaction or take interest in other things, the up bringing environment is not consistent due to simulated depression and uneasiness. The major appeals from the retained child were refusal to talk and the propensity to offense. The play therapy program, properly planned and applied, caused improvement in the child`s confidence and speech, and taught her to recognize that there is no need to control other people. The play therapy program was executed in 52 sessions ; 2 sessions per week for 50 minutes, and 4 sessions 1 session per week for 50 minutes in the end term, for a total of 56 sessions. Concluded symptom of the retained child who refused to talk was from the child's personality and the cause was her mother's inconsistent attitude of bringing up the child. The therapist therapeutic goals for on the child to express her emotion, feel her emotion and others', expose herself more frankly in a play therapy program, and educated the mother in keeping a consistent attitude in bringing up her child. As a result of applying a play therapy program, the child expressed her opinion freely, and showed that she adapt herself to her environment affirmatively. The Mother was able to respond sensitively, and grasped the child's situation objectively.
