      a vehicle, which is comprised of advanced driving assistant system and information technology, will be not only transportation but providing information for driver and moving life space in days to come. therefore a vehicle which has embedded system needs interface as running computer. the purpose of this study is to design vehicle-driver interface prototype of digital instrument cluster in intelligent vehicle. in this study, instrument cluster is a interface in intelligent vehicle. the process of this study is to survey advanced safety technology and telematics service as Information technology, and then, the scenario of normal driving situation was constructed by connecting related technology or services. the result is to suggest interface design prototype model.
