The outcomes of this study show as follows.
First, the management authority of the high school admission board - schools, provincial authorities, and in some cases, the government has been reallocated to make up for the weak points in the concerned entrance examination system.
Second, factors such as middle school records, selection tests, physical fitness exams, individual interviews, and performance test were used for high school admission. To ensure objectivity, multiple choices were selected widely with the use of school records in middle school for normalizing middle school education.
Third, state-run High School Standardization policies were adopted partially in 1974 and its application was expanded to other areas steadily until 1981. Although High School Standardization was abolished in some areas in the 1990s, the policy has been implemented more and more after the 2000s.
Fourth, the current high school admission process is conducted in different periods categorizing high schools into either The Former or The Latter group. The admission process takes into account selection tests, school records and interviews.
