삶의 철학을 위한 철학상담과 인성교육 ― 청소년 인성교육 프로그램의 기초원리와 실천 ―

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

As personality education emerges on the social level, there is a need for basic research on its theory and practice. Thus, this study set out to examine the basic principles of personality education and propose practical plans applicable to schools and various fields.
There is currently active personality education in schools and various fields of education through the free-semester system and after-school programs at the middle school level. This follow-up study is based on the results of an evaluation and analysis of personality education programs for adolescents. The goal is to provide a set of guidelines applicable to various fields of personality education and merge diverse discussions on personality education into a unified principle on the philosophy and basic content of personality education.
The present study examined the philosophical principles of personality education and proposed specific content for personality education programs applicable to the actual field, thus building a basic discussion about the theory and practice of personality education. The topics of personality education, based on philosophical principles, are ego, friendship, love, freedom, justice, peace, and happiness.
The study proposed a Happiness Group Program for Philosophical Counseling for Adolescents based on the happiness theories of ancient and medieval philosophy, thus demonstrating that personality education grounded in classical philosophy and humanities could be unified under a single principle. The study also concluded that the fundamental goal of personality education for adolescents was value education with classical virtues.
